Our Curriculum
Overview
Typical Stages of Speech Language Development:
How does speech typically emerge, and what should you expect to hear as your child grows?
According to speech language and hearing sciences, how children acquire languages is mostly a… mystery!
At Academini, we know that most typically, children learn language in predictable stages and at predictable ages, but within these parameters, there is a wide range of variability. Our curriculum embraces every child’s uniqueness, and helps them progress at their own comfortable pace.
Infants 4 to 12 M
From the moment you gaze into your baby’s eyes, the language dance begins. By four months of age your baby eagerly coos and cries, and each time your baby is calmed, their desire to communicate grows. Soon, your baby begins to recognize frequently occurring sound combinations called words.
Pips 1’S
At the tender age of one, infants –much like pips- are ready to begin rising. They begin to learn vocabulary and demand what they want.

Sprout 2’S
At Academini, as infants move into the toddler phase, their day takes on a more uniform schedule. Technology-based learning At this critical stage, early childhood is precious and mustn’t be eroded by too stringent a focus on ‘academic’ learning. Our staff will intervene by integrating the new interactive state of the art technology-based learning into our curriculum. “Smart Board” emphasizes on hands-on approach.

Pumpkin 4’s
A child will try out more complex sentences to convey new ideas, they will also understand increasingly complex instructions and give accurate descriptions by combining at least 4 plus words combining events of their life.
